September 2018 || Free 52

Welcome to this month’s Free 52 blog circle!

Before getting started with sharing this month, I wanted to remind you to travel to my friend Lauren next to see her September freelensed share! Then follow the circle back to me!

So September was a busy month for us! We MOVED….for the THIRD consecutive year, on the same weekend/week. No joke. Also not planned. But, three years, three times none the less. We also prepared ourselves for our newest family addition, our sweet vizsla puppy, Valley!! (Technically we got her on October 1st…but I’m sharing her first photos here) Needless to say, I picked my camera up exactly two times this month.

The first was for this year’s Portland Clickin Walk, which happened to be 3 days after we moved. No, not busy at all. But it was a nice break from the chaos. This year I had the opportunity to co-lead the walk, which was a nice experience! As always, even though I don’t feel like I’m really good at street photography, I really enjoyed time out doing new things, meeting new people and enjoying my city! This year we took in all the sights of Alberta Street. It is full of murals and graffiti in every nook and cranny. I managed to get a few freelensed images and I LOVE all the colors we found on Alberta Street!

Though she did not technically join our family until October 1st, I’m sharing our sweet Valley here since we got her about a week ago now. I haven’t taken many photos, and I’m already regretting it because in this one week, I feel like she’s already grown. But here are a few of her napping on the couch <3
